NYS Licensed After School Program
The After School Program provides a quality child-care environment with a unique concentration in life skills, academia, and NYS Regents standards preparation. This program serves children in first through eigth grade. Through homework help, tutoring, supplemental learning activities, counseling, advocacy and fun, children thrive in this program.

NYS Lisenced Summer Program
The Summer Program provides children with an opportunity to participate in various activities in which they can maximize their potential. A strong focus on academic, social and physical enrichment is at the heart of this unique award winning program.

|
Youth Employment Program
Young adults between the ages of 14 and 21 are given an opportunity to work in our Center. Work ethic and life skills development is at the foundation of this program. The students explore a career track along with preparing for higher and continuing education. Participants in this program receive job training, job coaching, advocacy, life skills development and peer support.
Rockland Counties Youth Bureau partially funds this program.

Family, Health and Assistance

Community Health Program
Provides physical assessments, blood pressure screening, health advocacy, workshops and seminars on health, preventive health instruction, under the supervision of a part time, registered nurse, and a resident physician on call when needed.

Advocacy
The Center intercedes for our Community Family, in the School District, Justice Court, Family Court, Supreme Court, Hospitals, Probation, along with referrals to allied agencies to help resolve the crisis.

|
Rockland Family Shelter
Meets at the Center three times a week, to meet the needs of Women in Crisis, along with survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, promoting safety for children and women.

|
Food Pantry
In 2005, the Center was responsible for distributing over 93000 pounds of food to our Community Family, including children, men, women and elders. The Center is funded by the Regional Food Bank, along with donations and other grants.

Sr. Nutrition Asst. Program
Provides our elders healthy, hot and cold lunches according to the season, time to socialize, fellowship, health assessments, workshops, seminars on all that impact on elders today, preventive health and pharmaceutical instruction, and assistance in visiting hospitals, doctors, and general stores for shopping.

Nyack Hospital Recovery Center
Annexed at our Center, this program provides a safe comfort zone for all of those in the recovery track. The program runs five days a week to meet the state's mandate to help those in need recover and move on to a more productive and healthy life style.
